The purpose of these videos is for me to watch as my game improves. I also hope they serve as training tools and building blocks to as many young hoopers as possible. The best way to learn and get better is to see yourself on film. Not only can you see what areas you need to work on, film allows you to understand your strengths as a player so that you can maximize your own ability. You can tailor your workouts to the specific areas you need to strengthen so that you're as efficient as possible. I want to take my game to the professional level overseas. So for me, time and being efficient is very important because I have a lot of catching up to do.
Like most, I started playing AAU when I was really young, but didn't fall in love with the game or understand the commitment and discipline needed to play at a high level until much later in life. I wasn't provided with any avenues and didn't know where to look for the best training. Everything I've achieved in basketball I've had to take and earn myself. My unique experiences from high school to college to semi-pro ball have all contributed to where I am as a player and how I view the game today.
As you watch me grow, I want to provide you with as many tools and advice from the training I've done and continue to do today. If I can help just a couple people get better and truly reach their potential, then I'll feel like this is all worth it. Feel free to ask questions. I'm here to help.
